UKC Hunting Ops offers a variety of events for UKC-registered Pointing Dogs. Choose an event or program from the list below to learn more or use our upcoming events calendar.
In addition to offering titles directly within the UKC Field Trial program (see calendar links above), UKC accepts the record-keeping legitimacy of certain third-party sporting dog organizations. A sporting dog organization must apply to UKC for this right. For approved Affiliate organizations, UKC recognizes club title designations for dogs who are UKC registered and applies the third-party titles to their official UKC record. For UKC titles to be awarded through Affiliate events, the Affiliate must track UKC-eligible championship points and titles. The Affiliate club is then responsible for notifying UKC of new titles so that we may issue championship degrees and update dog records. Our current Affiliate Clubs are listed below.
National Bird Dog Circuit
The mission of the National Bird Dog Circuit is to offer the finest competition bird dog hunting experience throughout the United States.
The United Field Trialer's Association provides a competitive venue for field trial competitors who appreciate having a fair and consistent system for measuring a dog's performance.
American Pointing Lab Association
The APLA exists to identify, certify, and promote a strain of Labrador Retriever that points game as a natural act while retaining the Labrador's traditional superior ability to retrieve game on land and in water.
