Performance Listing Services
Bloodline Listing
- Focused on helping newly established breed groups or types, Bloodlines Listing Service provides space for new breed groups to establish their breed stock by offering lineage tracking services to dog owners and breeders
- Some eligible breeds include: Armenian Gampr, Phu Quoc Ridgeback, Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonka, Hollandse, Mechelse, Duitsh Herders, and the Yakutian Laika.
- An extension of the Performance Listing program, the Bloodlines Listing Service accommodates individual dogs that don't fit into an existing, defined breed standard and/or who do not meet Single Registration requirements for their desired breed if that breed already exists in the UKC registry.
- For example, Bully-type dogs not of proper type to fit the UKC American Bully requirements will receive a listing certificate designating them as an American Exhibition Bully instead of a true UKC American Bully. The American Exhibition Bully is not eligible for conformation. These dogs may participate in appropriate UKC performance events.
- As an extension of the Perfomance Listing program, any type of dog not available from the breed dropdown in the Single Registration section of the UKC website is inelgible to receive a breed type on their return Bloodlines Listing Service paperwork and will be listed as "UNR" (unrecognized).
- Defined breeds not yet recognized by UKC who would like to utilize Bloodlines Listing Service to further develop their breeds are encouraged to apply for new breed recognition following these steps.
My dog received Bloodlines listing papers back from UKC. What does this mean?
Your dog is eligible for any appropriate UKC performance event, like agility, obedience, dock jumping, and more. Your dog is not eligible for conformation.
Can I breed my dog?
Pups from your dog are not eligible for litter registration unless your dog has a breed type designation. Dogs with "UNR" for Unrecognized are not eligble for breeding rights.
I want my dog to receive Bloodlines listing papers. What should I do?
Apply via Single Registration. Any unrecognized breed will be reflected as UNR for unrecognized. Bully-type dogs not meeting UKC American Bully breed requirements and type will be granted an American Exhibition Bully certificate instead and are not eligible for conformation.
If my dog has Bloodlines credentials, is it UKC registered?
Your dog is eligible to participate in performance events like Agility, Obedience, Dock Jumping, and more! Your dog is not eligible for conformation; no litters may be registered from your dog if it is listed as UNR for Unrecognized.

Performance Listing (PL)
Performance Listing is a method for:
- mixed breed dogs;
- purebred dogs of unknown pedigree;
- purebred dogs with UKC breed standard disqualifications; or
- breeds not recognized by UKC

To obtain a UKC participant identification number in order to enter UKC Performance events and earn titles. Performance Listed dogs may compete in all applicable UKC Performance Events, and may be used in Junior Showmanship classes.
Note: the seven Coonhound breeds may apply for Performance Listing numbers which allow entry to the non-hunting events only. They may not be used in any UKC Licensed Coonhound events.
The Performance Listing Program offers many opportunities and allows dogs to participate for points and titles in UKC performance events. Performance Listed dogs do not receive breeding rights. No litters may be registered from a Performance Listed dog, and no pedigrees will be maintained. The number allows dogs to enter UKC events, and allows UKC to maintain the dog's competition history and issue performance titles. PL dogs may also be used in Junior Showmanship classes. PL dogs must meet the requirements to be listed as one of the breeds in the Gun Dog group and are required to be spayed or neutered to participate in HRC events only.
