PRE-ENTRY SPECIAL
--Conformation--
$105 All 5 Shows, Same Dog

-Offered Saturday & Sunday ONLY
ALTERED DOG INVITATIONAL (Non-Licensed event) - Friday 8/8/25
-Any altered dog who won an ABIS or an ARBIS in 2024 is invited to compete for the honor of The National Altered Dog Invitational BIS.
-Dogs who competed under a Permanent Registration Number in 2024 are already ranked here: https://raphoundpc.com/nadi2025.html and are automatically qualified.
-Owners whose dogs competed under a temporary listing number will need to provide verification of their ABIS or ARBIS win with entry.
--Round 1--
-This show will be judged and decided in the following format: Entered dogs will compete in their Breed for BOB. All BOB winners will advance to a Group Final. Groups will be the standard 8 groups Herding, Companion, Terrier, Guardian, Gun Dog, Sight Hound & Pariah Dogs, Scent Hounds and Northern. Judging at this level will be split between 2 judges.
-Judge Janet Emery will judge Breeds in the following groups: Herding, Companion, Terrier, and Sighthound & Pariah Dogs
-Judge Fred Hyer will judge Breeds in the following groups: Scent Hounds, Gun Dog, Guardian, and Northern
-Dogs who win BOB will advance to Group finals.
-Both judges will judge the same 4 groups as the first round. They will advance up to 4 dogs from each group to the semi-final. Judges may elect to advance less than 4 dogs.
--Semifinal Round--
-Judge Emery will judge the dogs advanced by Judge Hyer to the Semi Final
-Judge Hyer will judge the dogs advanced by Judge Emery to the Semi Final
-Each judge will advance 5 dogs in no particular order to the final round.
-There will be 10 dogs in the final round. Richard Todd Jackson, Gregg Kantac and Carianna Glenn will serve on the panel for the final round.
-The panel will award the 10 dogs in the final places 1-10. Winners will then be announced in order from the 10th place dog to the BIS show dog.
--Altered Invitational PRIZES--
-BIS Dog will be awarded a $1000 cash prize, the NADI Cup, the Dogwood Garland and a Championship Belt.
-The #2 Dog will be awarded a $250 cash prize, a medal and a plaque.
-Dogs #3-#10 will receive an embroidered suit bag and a certificate.
NADI GALA - Thursday 8/7/25
-Shuttle service will be provided from the Fairgrounds. The top dogs, as ranked by the Rappahannock Hound and Performance Club, of 2024 will receive recognition at this event including presentation of the PANDA (Prestigious Altered National Dog Award) to the top ranked dog of 2024. Panda was an APBT who received UKCs first ABIS at Premier National in 2010.
-Tickets for the NADI GALA will be available through the NADI Portal on the Rappahannock Hound and Performance Club website, as well as information regarding times, menu, and awards to be presented.
Camping is available at the Fairgrounds with full RV hookups
REFUND POLICY
Rappahannock Hound and Performance Club will refund 100% of entrance fees minus $3 processing on request up to two (2) weeks before the trial date. Between 13 days and the closing date of trial, entrants will receive a 50% refund minus a $3 processing fee. Following the closing date, there are no refunds. If a dog is unable to compete because of a veterinarian verified injury, entrant will receive a credit that may be used for future shows with the RHPC. Should RHPC cancel a trial for any reason, entrants will be refunded their registration fees minus the $3 processing fee. All entrants may request a 100% refund with NO processing fee in the event of a judge change.
