UKC continues to be vigilant concerning the well-being and safety of our exhibitors and participants. Based on growing concerns regarding Coronavirus, please know we are monitoring the situation and are committed to taking the appropriate steps necessary to ensure the safety of the UKC community. We will continue to act in the best interest of our customers, while following the guidance of the Center for Disease Control and applicable public health agencies. We encourage all host clubs for UKC licensed events to do the same.
As the situation continues to evolve around the country, each individual club is best positioned to make their own choice regarding their events. Decisions should be made in conjunction with the host location and all local and state mandates and health suggestions. Please refer to your specific states recommendations for event size, travel recommendations, or other related factors. If events are held, we encourage host club responsibility in providing ample cleansing products on site and available in large quantities.
UKC will work to spread the word of any cancellations immediately.
If your club chooses to cancel, please email us at cancellations@ukcdogs.com so the event calendar may be updated as quickly as possible.
Major events hosted by UKC are still scheduled as of this writing. We endeavor to announce any major event cancellations at least two weeks prior to the event date if necessary. Updated information as it pertains to each specific event will be made available on that events page on the UKC website. Please continue to monitor these event-related pages and our website for more information.
Guided by the belief that dogs make a difference by being the best partner a human can have in the field, on the job, or in a competition event, UKC is a community for people and dogs to pursue excellence together. Founded in 1898, UKC has been dedicated to enhancing the lives of Dogs That Do More, and their owners, by providing essential resources to help owners and breeders make informed decisions. The dog-human bond is celebrated through family-friendly programs highlighting the instincts and heritage of purebred and mixed-breed dogs alike at over 15,000 licensed events annually.
