UKC Announces Staffing Change in Coonhound Field Operations
August 18, 2016
Kalamazoo, Michigan, August 19, 2016 -We are happy to announce the hiring of a new Field Operations Department Associate.
Previously covered by Corey Gruver, this position has been vacant since he left UKC to return to his home State of Pennsylvania and pursue other interests. We want to thank Corey for all that he has done for UKC during the time he was here, and we look forward to working with him on coonhound related projects in the future.
Newly hired in this position is Krystal Lear of Roaming Shores, Ohio. Now serving as an Associate in the UKC Field Operations Department, Krystal owns, hunts and shows Treeing Walker Coonhounds. Krystal has been very active in her Geauga County Coon Hunter’s Club serving as trustee, Hunt Director, Non-hunting Judge and every job in between. She has titled several dogs in the UKC Nite Hunts and Bench Shows, including a breed win at the UKC World Coonhound Bench Show. She was instrumental in bringing the TWBFA Youth Extravaganza to her home club, and her organizational skills were a big part of the success of that event.
We look forward to Krystal’s energy and enthusiasm to help organize and promote the many programs under the Field Operations Department umbrella. She will begin employment on Monday, August 22, and will be joining the UKC staff in traveling to Autumn Oaks.
Be sure to introduce yourself to Krystal when you have the chance, and join us in wishing her much success in her future with United Kennel Club!
