Judge Of The Year Nominee

  • Chad Burdette and Tyler Jones

Without judges, we would just be hosting sanctioned training days. If someone knows the combined total miles walked by these two this quarter, please let me know so we can recognize these individuals even more. They both judged 10 days each this quarter. With 20 combined days of judging, they combined to donate almost a month of their year to judging and we couldnt be more grateful for their time chasing down dogs across Missouri, Ohio, and West Virgina! Congratulations on your nominations for quarter 3 Judges of the Year!

Club Of The Year Nominee

  • River City Shed Dogs

This Missouri club put on a great 11th hour event. They ended the 2024 year with a bang averaging over 50 dogs per day bringing in one of the largest events by entry and daily average this quarter even among the Dog of the year evens. Congratulations to the crew down in St. Charles!

Youth Handler Of The Year Nominee

  • Zach Meadows

This young man has had an extremely consistent showing the past few quarters and put up a whopping 58 points in the 3rd quarter alone. Consistency was certainly key for Mr. Zach this quarter finding the podium all but once in all 10 of his runs this quarter with 5 of those 9 podiums being a 2nd place or better! Congratulations on earning this quarters nomination, Zach!

Ambassador Of The Year Nominee

The ambassador of the year is a unique award because there is no metric used to calculate who was the most involved or helpful over the past three months. If somehow, we did quantify this award, we would have a tie between countless people every quarter. This sport is driven forward by the welcoming, respectful, and helpful nature of all the participants. Ambassadors and nominees, past, present, and future should hold themselves to a higher standard and be role models for new and existing members.

  • Zoey Rada

Zoey is your 3rd quarter nominee for Ambassador of the year. Almost the whole sport has met Zoey and knows of her passion for the sport and for coaching youth. A reoccurring theme in her nominations has been how helpful she is with the youth often taking them under her wing at events. As a product of the youth program herself, she recognizes the benefits of a kind word of advice to those who are the future of the sport. In addition to her help with youth, she is also just as welcoming and informative to new handlers. I will also add that she may be one of the only busy college students that would take their valuable time off from classes and offer to judge or assist at trials. Join me in congratulating Zoey on her nomination for ambassador of the year!
