Judge Of The Year Nominee

  • Jeff Rada

2X and soon to be 3x Nationals Judge, Jeff Rada is your 2nd quarter Judge of the year nominee. Jeff judged for 8 days across 3 clubs in Nebraska, Kansas, and Indiana. Thats some serious mileage for this Wisconsin based judge. Join me in congratulating Jeff on his hard work this quarter earning him this nomination.

Club Of The Year Nominee

  • Bone Addix Antler Dogs

This club hosted an average of 38 dogs a day right at the end of the quarter to earn this nomination. The logistics that go into these events quite literally can not be overestimated. From lining up judges, planters, drawings, courses, and all the other creature comforts our competitors have come to enjoy about the shed dog sport, setting up events is no small task. Thank you to all the clubs who hosted events in the 2nd quarter and kudos to Bone Addix on their nomination!

Honorable Mention:

  • Husker

I'd also like to recognize Husker Antler Dogs for their 2nd quarter 3 day event that averaged just behind Bone Addix but was the most well attended non-DOY 3 day event!

Youth Handler Of The Year Nominee

  • Tucker Gambrell

This young man literally burnt up the circuit this quarter. Running for a total of 12 days, placing in the top 3 at each of those and finding the 1st place podium five times! His 1st and 2nd quarter points total is now over 65! Keep your eye on this guy as we enter the second half of the season!

Ambassador Of The Year Nominee

The ambassador of the year is a unique award because there is no metric used to calculate who was the most involved or helpful over the past three months. If somehow, we did quantify this award, we would have a tie between countless people every quarter. This sport is driven forward by the welcoming, respectful, and helpful nature of all the participants. Ambassadors and nominees, past, present, and future should hold themselves to a higher standard and be role models for new and existing members.

  • Rusti Henderson

I personally can't say enough great things about Rusti but her peers are the ones who nominated her this quarter. For her involvement with the youth scholarship committee to her positive attitude and welcoming spirit. Rusti is said to be a shining beacon in the sport and is said to be a perfect example of an ambassador for the Elite Shed Dog Series.
