The Precision Coursing rulebook has been revised for 2021 to include provisions for dogs that come into contact with the active lure line or other piece of equipment during their run. Should this happen, the dog will be excused by the judge and may run again at the end of the Order of Go at the handler's discretion, and must pass the judges' inspection for fitness to compete a second time.

Founded in 1898, UKC has been dedicated to enhancing the lives of Dogs That Do More, and their owners, by providing essential resources to help owners and breeders make informed decisions.
