German Shorthaired Pointer Breed Standard Revision
March 15, 2016
Kalamazoo, Mich., March 7, 2016 - Recent revisions to the height portion of the German Shorthaired Pointer breed standard have been revisited.
After careful review and discussion with exhibitors and breeders in response to the recent change in the German Shorthaired Pointer breed standard, we have arrived at a decision to retract the changes made to that portion of the standard. We would like to thank everyone who came forward to express their opinions in a well thought out, educated and unified voice. UKC as an organization is made better by your positive efforts to effect change. All other January 1, 2016 revisions remain in effect.
