The UKC Agility Rulebook has been officially revised as of October 1, 2021. Thank you so much for your excellent feedback and suggestions for the sport.

A complete list of changes is available in the back of the rulebook. Some notable changes are:

  • Replacing Veteran with Minimum Jump Height, which is open to dogs of any age. Dogs jumping the Minimum Jump Height will use the jump height of the division below their true height division and will have an extra five seconds added to their running time, working just like Veteran did.
  • Changing to make calling faults allowable in Intermediate they may be called at the discretion of the judge.
  • Clarifying that taking the correct obstacle in the sequence backwards (for example, entering the wrong end of a tunnel or taking a hurdle backwards) is off-course.
  • Correction added that no more than two delimiting lines may be used on a course.

Please note that the current Agility rulebook will have Revised October 1, 2021 on the cover in the bottom right corner. If the rulebook does not show that, you may need to refresh your web browser.

A Q&A session on the new Agility rulebook will be held on Thursday, November 4th from 5:00pm 7:00pm EST. Please join us online then! More information will be available soon.

Please contact Hannah Tsui with any questions or concerns at htsui@ukcdogs.com. Thank you.
