UKC wishes to extend its congratulations to the prize winners from the 2023 Total Dog Invitational, held December 14-16, in Lexington, Kentucky!
After three days of tremendous competition, our overall winner was DASH USJ UJJCH AN NHD NT NH UCD SV UACHX C TREASURE TYME STILETTO SPOT-ON, an Australian Shepherd, owned by Ellen Davis and Beth Anglemyer, of Michigan!
Thousands of dogs and their handlers from across the United States and Canada competed throughout the past year to qualify for this prestigious event, by virtue of winning a Total Dog award at one of our Regional Qualifying Events held across the country. This year's Regional Qualifying Events were as far north as Minnesota, as far south as Texas, as far west as Washington and as far east as Massachusetts, with more than a half dozen other locations in between. This truly national set of qualifiers netted us a total of 467 dogs representing at least 40 states, plus Canada.
In addition to the hundreds of dedicated dog and handler teams who have worked so hard throughout the year to reach this event, UKC would like to thank our partners, Eukanuba, the Official Performance Dog Nutrition Partner of UKC, and Dogtra, the Official GPS Collar Partner of UKC, for helping make this and all of our national events possible.
After two days of performance sports on Thursday and Friday, those dogs which earned qualifying scores advanced to Saturday's Conformation show, and the dogs' total scores, as outlined in the event rules would determine which dogs finish in our Top Ten placements, walking away with a cash prize.
The prize payouts were as follows:
- Overall Winner: $10,000
- 2nd: $5,000
- 3rd: $2,000
- 4th: $1,500
- 5th: $1,000
- 6th: $600
- 7th: $500

- 9th: $300
