We know that many of you have been waiting patiently for date and location information on the 2023 Total Dog Invitational. Since 2021, the UKC Total Dog Invitational has been the only event to take the UKC Total Dog philosophy to the max by inviting Total Dogs to compete in a three-day competition for a grand prize of $10,000!
While searching for a venue for the 2023 event, we were committed to finding a location within driving distance for as many competitors as possible while still offering a unique customer experience and on-site camping. Today, the UKC All-Breed Sports Team is very excited to announce that the 2023 Total Dog Invitational will be held at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky from December 14th through December 16th.
Dogs who have earned a Total Dog award at a Regional Qualifying Event (RQE) through August 31st will be invited to compete in this one-of-a-kind event.
Please visit the Total Dog Invitational page on the UKC website for more information about TDI Rules, RQEs, Judges, and Accommodations. Also, be sure to take a look at the point schedule for the event, as it has been modified to provide a more balanced number of points across the sports offered.
UKC Total Dog Invitational has been the highlight competition for Total Dogs and their handlers to showcase Dogs That Do More. We are looking forward to welcoming you to our next UKC-hosted event!

Founded in 1898, UKC has been dedicated to enhancing the lives of Dogs That Do More, and their owners, by providing essential resources to help owners and breeders make informed decisions. The dog-human bond is celebrated through family-friendly programs highlighting the instincts and heritage of purebred and mixed-breed dogs alike at over 18,000 licensed events annually.
