The 10 High Scoring Total Dogs at the 2022 Total Dog Invitational!

Congratulations to our winners

October 23, 2022

At the UKC Total Dog Invitational, pre-qualified dogs were invited to attend and put their skills to the test! The event took place at the Shreveport Convention Center, October 20-22, 2022 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Dogs' titles earned prior to the event were worth a certain number of bonus points. At the event, Nosework, Weight Pull, Rally Obedience, Obedience, and Conformation were offered and dogs earned points based on their qualifying runs and their scores. The complete points schedule can be found in the 2022 Judging Program.

Dogs had to qualify in at least one performance event on Thursday or Friday at the event in order to participate in the conformation competition on Saturday. On Saturday, eight randomly assigned conformation groups were judged by a panel of three judges and each dog was scored numerically by each judge. The dog with the highest score between the three judges won a Group 1, the second highest won Group 2, and so on. All the points, including performance, were then tallied to determine the overall winner!

Of the entered dogs, those listed below had the highest placements and were invited on stage to claim their awards. Congratulations to Jackie Stephenson, and Tikka, the Belgian Shepherd Dog, who won first place!
