General Information
ATTENTION JUDGES: Are you interested in learning more about the BSD through scribing? UBSDA is seeking scribes for their National Show being held in Gray Summit, MO October 6-8, 2023. Contact Pat Perkins, if interested at patperkinsdvm@gmail.com
Schedule of events:
Friday- National Sweepstakes- Youth, Elder, working (held concurrently with regional BSD specialty)
Saturday-All class dogs and Altered. Rally OB will also be held for Total Dog.
Sunday-BSD National Specialty
Total Dog/Total Junior offered. The participant must be entered in a qualified conformation event, and the performance event. Since the conformation event is over multiple days, the qualifying win will be counted, provided the participant also receives a qualifying score in the performance event.
Make checks payable (in US funds) to UBSDA. Mail with entries to show secretary. Overnight/express mail must have signatures waived. Entries received without a signature or proper fees will not be accepted after the closing date. E-mail acknowledgement of entries will be made as soon as possible after closing date if you include your email address on the entry. Should such acknowledgement not be received by the exhibitor within a reasonable time, please notify the show secretary.
Entry fees shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by a veterinarian, or judge, or barred from the competition by action of the show committee. If because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond control of management it is impossible to open or complete the show no refunds will be made. The well being of dogs, exhibitors and spectators is of paramount importance and in the event it is necessary to stop or cancel the show before completion, no refunds will be made. No substitution of dogs. UKC or UBSDA is not responsible for loss, accidents or theft.
Move Ups/Entry correction policy: A correction to any entry, or in the event that a dog needs to be moved up a class due to completion of title requirements, must be made in writing to the show secretary one half hour prior to the scheduled start of any judging at the show. Owners/exhibitors are responsible for correcting any errors following these guidelines.
