General Information

Before entry closing:
Entry fees are fully refundable provided we receive your entry withdrawal notice before entry closing. Service fees will not be refunded.
An exhibitor has the right to withdraw an entry at any time up to the entry closing date and time as published in the premium list. This must be done via email to the show secretary, no later than the closing date and time. If notification is not received, the dog will remain entered in the event and the entry fee and any associated service fee or other fee will become non-refundable.
After entry closing:
No refunds are permitted for any entry after entry closing. Exception: Bitches that come into season before the event date.
1. Entry fees will be refunded or a substitution can be made when a bitch entered in an event that does not permit bitches in season, comes into season after the close of entries if a veterinarians certificate (certifying that the bitch was in season within the 10 day period preceding the event) is delivered to us or the show secretary before the starting date and the time of the trial/show. Entry fees will be refunded if the above conditions are met, however service fees will not be refunded.,
2. Entry fees will be refunded or a substitution can be made when a dog/bitch becomes ill or injured after the close of entries if a veterinarians certificate (certifying that the dog/bitch will be injured or ill during the even) is delivered to us or the show secretary before the starting date and the time of the trial/show. Entry fees will be refunded if the above conditions are met, however service fees will not be refunded.
3. If, after entries close, there is a judge change, and you wish to not show under the replacement judge you may withdraw your entry for a refund. Withdrawals must be in writing and must be made before the start of the show or trial. Entry fees will be refunded if the above conditions are met, however service fees will not be refunded.
4. If it is impossible to open or to complete the event because of riot, civil disturbance, extreme weather or other acts beyond the control of Maple Leaf Kennel Club, no refund of entry fees or service fees will be made.
Substitution of an entered dog:
Substitution of an entered fog may be allowed at the clubs discretion. The dog being substituted must meet all eligibility requirements to enter a UKC event and the class it is entering. Substitution of a dog is prohibited when the dog is ineligible to compete. Owners who are substituting an un-entered dog for an entered dog must submit a completed official UKC entry form along with the correction/class change form outlining the details of the substitution.
