UKC Announces Refreshed Product Registration Line & Extended Phone Hours

Reach Us Until 8:30pm ET, Monday-Friday.

October 6, 2022

To best serve you, effective October 10, 2022, we now offer permanently extended Customer Service hours for customers to reach us via phone and chat. Customers can reach UKC's Customer Service & Registration team from 8:30 am-8:30pm Eastern.

"We continue to see an exponential amount of growth with incoming registration applications and phone communication needs," Director of Customer Service & Registration Taylor Armstrong said.

"The extended phone hours allow our Customer Service team to help you as best as possible each business day during a timeframe that is more flexible and accessible for your varied schedules," Taylor added.

Recruiting additional team members fast enough in Kalamazoo for Customer Service roles has been a challenge for us and other local businesses for the better part of three years. Because of this, weve expanded and recruited additional team members with a satellite office in the Phoenix area. Phoenix is one of the largest call center hubs in America, which offers an excellent talent pool for recruiting. Along with an increased ability to recruit interested team members effectively, adding team members in Arizona allows us to expand our phone and chat hours.

Registration products will continue to be sent from the Kalamazoo office as it always has, while online applications are now processed by both the Kalamazoo and Phoenix team. The team in Kalamazoo will remain available on phones, via email, and online chat.

In addition to our new service hours, we're releasing a refreshed product line for Registration certificates and pedigrees that will be available for applications received after December 1, 2022. This refreshed lineup of pedigrees has a new look that still pays tribute to the 125+ year history UKC represents. Also, look forward to more upgrade options being available, as well as additional pedigree sizes, including a new Gold metallic upgrade for our 3-Generation Performance Pedigree Purple Ribbon Bred dogs, never-before-available metallic upgrades for other permanently registered dogs, and a brand new 5-Generation Performance Pedigree.

Want to frame yours? The Official Permanent Registration Certificates will be displayed next to the 3-Generation Performance Pedigree and 4-Generation Performance Pedigree so you can easily frame or display both together. Updated pricing for these services will launch along with the refreshed and improved lineup.

"I'm excited to launch this refreshed lineup, especially the additional metallic upgrades and 5-Generation pedigree that we've heard many requests for over the past few years," says Taylor.

The UKC All-Breed Sports team and UKC Hunting Ops team will continue to work from the Kalamazoo office primarily, with those teams greeting you on the road most weekends at UKC National Events. Those teams will remain available from 8:30am-4:30pm ET.

We're excited to bring you an expanded level of service and refreshed product line.

Guided by the belief that dogs make a difference by being the best partner a human can have in the field, on the job, or in a competition event, UKC is a community for people and dogs to pursue excellence together. Founded in 1898, UKC has been dedicated to enhancing the lives of Dogs That Do More, and their owners, by providing essential resources to help owners and breeders make informed decisions. The dog-human bond is celebrated through family-friendly programs highlighting the instincts and heritage of purebred and mixed-breed dogs alike at over 18,000 licensed events annually.
